Kerry Armstrong Yoga - Apply to Assist

Each year I train a few teachers on how to run their own yoga retreat program. This is an empowering program on many levels and I would be honored if you wished to join me. As a team member you will learn:

  • Choose a Venue
  • Contract do’s and don’ts
  • Market your Retreat
  • Create Profit
  • Travel Logistics
  • Generating Enrollments

Prior to the retreat, we will have a set of zoom calls where I will share everything I know on how to produce a successful yoga retreat.

Once we arrive onsite, throughout the week you will be educated on the following: housing grids, rooming lists, preparing your yoga room, room set up and takedown, retail, preparing and delivering your content, hands-on assisting (power yoga classes only), managing group environments, daily clean up duties, excursion logistics, retreat photography.

The program is designed to give you a complete understanding of how to create a retreat, market retreats, manage large groups and lead your unique offering. Throughout the program, you will have pre-retreat tasks, onsite duties, and daily team meetings.

You will be both a participant and an assistant during our week together. My expectation is that you take this week to be fully awake, aware and open to where you can grow in your personal leadership and potential retreat offerings.

As an assistant, you will be holding space and learning how to hold a micro and macro view of the classroom. This is not a teacher training program, you will not be given feedback on your teaching or endure any one-on-one coaching. As an assistant, you will be asked to attend every session and you will be given one full day off during the week that you can use if you wish to do anything outside of the retreat schedule. When we are not in the classroom together you will have space to enjoy the facilities and all the luxuries they have to offer.

My intention for this program is to educate you and also allow you to experience the entire retreat. You will participate in the full retreat as a student so you can feel the benefits of the yogic experience. Once class starts you are welcome to fully participate in the meditations, kundalini rising experiences, power yoga asana practices and any other soul-fulfilling modalities that are taught during our expansive week together.

This is a work-trade position, meaning in trade for your efforts in producing and executing the retreat as part of the team, you will be able to attend either the Costa Rica Retreat or Greece Retreat at a discounted rate of $1350 in a shared room space. (Single room rates are available at an additional cost, please inquire if you wish to have a single room. They are limited.)

Assistants are responsible for their own airfare, ground transportation costs and any meals not included in the retreat package.

Now that you know the details, select which 2020 retreat you would like to apply for from the “Register to Assist” box. If you click in the box it will bring up the various retreats. There is a $35 application fee. Paying this fee does not guarantee you a spot on the assisting team. I created the fee to ensure you are serious about applying.

Once your application request has been received, you will then be sent an official application. I will send you the app, as soon as I see your request come through, please give me 24-48 hours.

Fill out the application and send it back to me by March 1st.

The teams will be chosen as applications come in.

This year I will be selecting teams of 3-4 people for each retreat team. The application has in-depth questions so give yourself enough time to answer them thoughtfully.

It is my mission to empower others to reach for their highest potential through the awakened technologies of Kundalini Yoga and the foundational practices of Power Yoga (Baptiste Styled). I am looking to work with teachers that are inspired to expand themselves and others in the health and wellness arena. I am manifesting a planet full of harmony, positivity, and self-awareness.

If you are in alignment with raising your own personal potential and contributing to the planet in a positive way, I would love to have you on the team.

Please let me know if you have any questions about the program. I can be reached at kerryarmstrongyoga@gmail.com.
